Tigh na Mara

Tigh na Mara is a beautiful, contemporary one bedroom retreat constructed in 2019 and offers exceptional accommodation for couples or solo travellers.

The house is a modern interpretation of a Sheiling or small dwelling once used by shepherds in Scotland whilst tending their cattle during the summer months. Tigh na Mara literally means “House by the Sea” in Gaelic and refers to the property’s unique location overlooking Ardmair Bay towards Isle Martin and the Summer Isles.
